ResponsibilitiesAssociate Account Executives are enrolled in a comprehensive outside B2B Sales Training Program focused on learning a relationship‑driven, client‑focused approach to selling consulting and professional services. Once training is complete, 80% of the time is spent in front of customer decision makers to build partnerships, create pipeline opportunities, and secure win‑win engagements with clients. The role utilizes a solution‑based selling approach, a Relationship Lifecycle methodology, a structured sales playbook, and quantitative activity‑based goals.
Here are the primary drivers for success:
- Strategically identify opportunities and pursuits in 3‑5 designated target accounts
- Build and sustain long‑lasting relationships with new and existing clients within the assigned accounts through onsite client meetings, presentations, and outings such as ball games, dinners, golf, etc.
- Consult with clients to create solutions that help drive change and successful projects within their organization that deliver positive outcomes
- Act as a client advocate with a focus on improving the experience of the targeted accounts
- Present to C‑suite executives and champion solutions for their project roadmaps
- Continue to meet and exceed target sales goals
- Set personal and team goals through frequent sprint sessions with the manager and sales support team
- All other job duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Company and/or typical for the position
- Multi‑stage sales training begins with organizational, IT industry, and sales foundations
- Sales Readiness program equips you with knowledge of the playbook, core competencies, and key selling skills
- Role‑playing situational selling exercises and ride‑along with senior account executives
- Establishing your client portfolio and fostering executive‑level relationships
- In‑person training at the Headquarters provides knowledge application
- Continued education as you ramp up in your sales career
