GENERAL FUNCTION:Selected candidates are intended to become a Retail Personal Banker II after completing a 9-week onboarding and education program that includes rotations in Operations and Sales & Service. There will be a certification at the conclusion of the program to demonstrate skills necessary for a role within the Retail Personal Banker job family. The Retail Personal Banker II role is a sales position focused on sales development and relationship building through the promotion of deposits, loans, fee-based services, and customer retention.
Responsibilities include selling a full range of banking products and services to meet customer needs, providing specialized care, and utilizing consultative sales processes with staff referrals.
This role requires accountability for risk management, following policies and procedures, and ensuring a positive customer experience. It involves identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks while operating within the bank's risk appetite.

MINIMUMKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- College degree or relevant work experience.
- Experience in the financial industry preferred.
- Ability to develop comfort with sales activities and cross-selling.
- Understanding of advanced math for credit and financial analysis.
- Professional appearance and communication skills.
- Knowledge of retail policies and sound judgment in decision-making.
- S.A.F.E. Act registration via NMLS is required at employment.
- Standard office environment.
- Extended viewing of computer screens.
- Travel within the affiliate for training and scheduling flexibility is required.
