We are now hiring for the Freddy’s location inside the Grand Rapids International Airport where we will create fresh, made-to-order, crave‑able food, served to our guests with genuine hospitality in a fun, inclusive environment.

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers® was co‑founded in 2002 by brothers Bill and Randy Simon with their friend and business partner, Scott Redler. It was named in honor of Bill and Randy’s father. Together, they built a brand focused on quality, hospitality, cleanliness and timeless traditions.

Responsibilities
  • Teach and practice Freddy’s standards of hospitality, quality, and cleanliness
  • Lead by example
  • Assist in developing a professional work environment by following all company policies
  • Follow all procedures and checklists to achieve consistency between shifts
  • Be organized and develop good time management skills
  • Always be willing to learn and be receptive to coaching and constructive criticism
  • Supervise Team Members on the floor while often working one of the stations
  • Monitor staff and focus on coaching and refining Team Member skills
  • Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of facility and equipment
  • Assist the management team in various business duties
Skills & Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to work varying shifts
  • 1+ year of restaurant or hospitality industry experience
  • Desire to lead by example and work in a team environment
  • Natural leadership skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Successfully complete a background check
Physical Requirements (including but not limited to)
  • Ability to stand and walk up to 10 hours per day
  • Ability to continuously reach, bend, lift, carry, and stoop
  • Ability to freely access all areas of the restaurant
  • Ability to move or handle items weighing up to 50 lbs

Education
