40 hours per week | Varies Monday - Friday | every other weekend
Must be available to work all shifts as needed:
Lunch/dinner shift: 10am-7pm | Breakfast shift 5am-1:30pm

Role OverviewPorter Hills Village is a place where great food creates comfort, connection, and joy. Our team delivers culinary excellence across multiple dining venues, including our Main Dining Room, Café, and The Fairway Grille, offering a vibrant and ever-evolving culinary environment.
As a Lead Cook
, you’ll play a key role in shaping memorable dining experiences for our residents. Working in our scratch kitchens, you’ll prepare wholesome, flavorful meals that nourish both body and spirit. Your creativity, leadership, and attention to detail will help turn everyday meals into moments our residents look forward to.

Primary Responsibilities- Prepare and cook a variety of nutritious meals for residents.
- Cater to special dietary requirements and restrictions.
- Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Inspect and ensure that all side jobs and cleaning duties are performed and completed as scheduled in accordance with established policy and procedures.
- Assist with inventory and stock.
- Assist in food preparation and set up for catering events.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- Five years of cook experience in a restaurant, required.
- Culinary Education, preferred
- Serv Safe Certification, preferred
- Allergan Certification, preferred
- Ability to participate in frequent stooping and bending, lifting up to 35 pounds
