Overview
Server / Beertender - Grand Rapids, MI. Atwater Brewery & Biergarten in downtown Grand Rapids is looking to add to the team. We offer a portfolio of award-winning craft beers and seek a knowledgeable, personable and passionate individual to highlight our foods, beers and experiences for the Grand Rapids area.
Responsibilities- Support the company’s mission and corporate values.
- Act with honesty, respect and integrity, in the taproom and with each other.
- Greet and serve guests in a friendly and timely manner.
- Be knowledgeable about beer, cocktail and food menus.
- Upsell food, beer and specials when appropriate.
- Confident and comfortable serving tables and behind the bar.
- Educate guests on the company, history and the beer.
- Receive and process payments on proper terminals.
- Deliver food and drinks to customers.
- Assist in keeping the pub clean and follow sanitation requirements.
- Adhere to proper hygiene.
- Attendance required per company policy.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
- Minimum 1 year serving experience.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong quality control skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Works well independently and cooperatively in a team environment.
- Beer/Brewery knowledge preferred but not required.
