Quality Manager - Grand Rapids Area

Salary Range: $90,000 - $137,000 depending on experience

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Lead and manage the quality assurance team, providing training and development.
• Ensure all manufactured products meet specified quality standards, customer requirements, and regulatory compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
• Manage internal and external audit processes, including customer and certification audits.
• Oversee supplier quality management and incoming material inspection processes.
• Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends, mitigate risks, and implement improvements.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and their implementation.
• Strong understanding and application of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, Lean Six Sigma).
• Demonstrated leadership ability to build, mentor, and manage a quality team.
• ASQ certification (e.g., CQM/OE, CQE) preferred.

• Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
• Experience with advanced supplier quality management and development programs
• Demonstrated success in fostering a continuous improvement culture
