We are seeking a Part-Time Kennel Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about animals, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You’ll help care for dogs of all sizes, maintain a clean and safe facility, and ensure each guest receives the best possible care.

• Provide daily care, feeding, and enrichment for dogs
• Clean kennels, play areas, and common spaces to maintain a sanitary environment
• Monitor animal behavior and health, reporting concerns to supervisors
• Assist with walking, bathing, and playtime
• Interact professionally with pet owners and teammates
• Follow all safety and cleaning protocols
• Supervise a lively group of off-leash dogs, teaching manners, engaging in enrichment activities, managing needs, feeding, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the day
• Administer food and medication to overnight boarding dogs
• Bathe dogs before they go home
• Undergo education on dog body language, non-verbal communication, and conflict prevention
• Participate in twice-annual medical/first aid training
• Work on eliminating undesirable behaviors such as jumping, door dashing, and avoidance
• Perform physical tasks including lifting, pushing, pulling, and getting up/down for cleaning tasks

• Part-time: 20–30 hours per week
• Shifts may start as early as 6:30 AM or end as late as 7:45 PM
• Typically two or three 10‑hour shifts per week
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays
• Option for 6‑hour shifts available after 90‑day probationary period

• Starting pay: $14.50/hour
• Pay raise after 90 days
• Free daycare for your own pets

• Time and a half on holidays and birthdays
• Consistent, set schedule posted months in advance

• Genuine love for dogs and commitment to quality care
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Positive attitude and teamwork skills
• Previous animal care or kennel experience preferred, but not required
• Over 18 (position not available for minors)
• Not hesitant to connect with animals and be comfortable working with and for humans
• No restrictions on physical strength or ability
• Possess a driver's license and have personal access to a vehicle
• Prepared and able to work most weekends and holidays throughout the year
• Physical and emotional capabilities to thrive in an active and noisy environment
