Job Summary
As the Seasonal Animal Ambassador Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of creating captivating educational animal experiences for our guests. Your role involves conducting engaging presentations, utilizing positive reinforcement training methods, and ensuring the welfare of our ambassador animals. Key responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service through interactive animal demonstrations, maintaining meticulous animal records, and contributing to daily animal care.
From assisting with positive reinforcement training to daily observations and program preparation, your role ensures a safe, engaging, and informative experience for guests while prioritizing animal welfare.
Pay RateStarting at $14.00 / Hour

- Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must be able to work around animals, animal dander, and animal feed
- Must be able to stand, sit, bend, and crouch; must be able to stand for 3+ hours at one time; must be able to sit at a computer for 3+ hours at a time
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Incumbent will work in various environments both inside and outside and will occasionally be exposed to inclement weather, temperature and air quality variations.
- Must be able to work in relative proximity to exotic and domestic animals and tolerate exposure to animal dander, animal wastes and other zoonotic contaminants as well as dust, dirt, pollen and other airborne contaminants.
- While performing the essential functions of this position the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical hazards; noxious fumes; blood borne pathogens; cleaning compounds; solvents; detergents; noise; and other hazards.
- Must be 18+ to apply
- Must be able to work 20 hours per week
- Must be available to work weekends and evenings
