Chief Nursing Opportunity
The Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team at Forest View Hospital, a 108‑bed private psychiatric facility. The CNO will integrate and coordinate a patient‑centric nursing strategy, focusing on patient care and ensuring high‑quality, cost‑effective health care that aligns with the mission, vision and values of Universal Health Services (UHS), as well as government regulation, licensing and accreditation requirements.
The CNO participates in the hospital’s strategic planning and helps achieve institutional goals. The role focuses on five key areas:
People, Service, Quality, Growth and Finance.
Forest View Hospital has over 45 years of experience in evaluating, diagnosing and treating behavioral health issues, offering inpatient, partial hospitalization and outpatient services for children, adolescents and adults.

Qualifications- Licensure: current license or permit to practice professional nursing in the state of MI.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing from a CCNE‑accredited nursing program;
Master of Science in Nursing preferred. - Demonstrated knowledge of behavioral health nursing clinical practices and management.
- Extensive knowledge of principles and practices relevant to nursing and patient care activities.
- Demonstrated knowledge of effective management and supervisory practices; highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Five or more years of progressive nursing management experience in a behavioral health setting preferred.
- Ability to plan, direct and monitor activities of others with leadership that contributes to a positive work environment.
