Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm (full-time onsite)

As the Vaccination Coordinator, you will ensure that our participants and staff are offered and provided current recommended vaccinations based on the CDC guidelines to keep everyone safe and healthy.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop and oversee clinical departments orientation programs and annual competency processes in collaboration with the clinic and home care supervisors
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement process improvement initiatives
  • Develop opportunities for staff to develop and enhance their skills and competencies
  • Maintain a continuous educational program, based on the assessed needs for the organization
  • Develop and manage vaccinations schedules for participants and staff; hold flu clinics, etc.
  • Take the online CDC infection preventionist classes within one year of employment
What We’re Looking For
  • Degree/diploma in nursing and current state of Michigan Registered Nurse license required
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience or supervisory experience is required
  • Experience in clinical instruction/education is preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working with a frail or elderly population preferred
  • Knowledge of vaccine schedules, MCIR experience, tracking of vaccinations, and give vaccines
