Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (day);
Monday - Thursday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (evening);
Friday - Sunday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (evening weekend);
Monday - Thursday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (night);
Friday - Sunday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (night weekend). Additionally:
Full Time 3rd shift (12-hour shifts, 36 hours/week) and Full Time 2nd shift (8-hour shifts, 32 hours/week) — various unit-specific day/evening/night assignments (rotating coverage depending on unit).
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $29 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities Assess patient care needs and develop individualized plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team
Provide and coordinate nursing care, including milieu management and discharge/aftercare planning
Document, report, and verify clinical information in accordance with policies and standards
Monitor patient safety and promptly report any risks or adverse changes to providers
Provide clinical leadership by delegating and coordinating staff assignments and promoting staff development
Deliver culturally inclusive, person-centered care across diverse settings and populations
Support medication oversight and physical health activities as required by the program
Contribute to quality improvement by reviewing care protocols and suggesting process improvements
Model the organization’s mission and values through professional conduct and compassionate care
Qualifications Active Michigan RN license required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; ADN applicants considered
Psychiatric nursing experience preferred;
Emergency Department (ED) experience a plus
Satisfactory previous clinical experience; new grads may be considered (psych/ED background preferred)
Ability to demonstrate physical and emotional stamina to meet patient needs in varied settings
May require a valid Michigan driver’s license and ability to access Pine Rest transportation vehicles

Education Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Completion of an accredited school of nursing required (ADN or BSN acceptable)
Knowledge & Skills Patient assessment and the nursing process
Care planning and thorough documentation
Milieu management and promoting patient safety
Clinical leadership and staff coordination
Medication oversight and basic physical health monitoring
Interdisciplinary team collaboration and patient/family education
Ability to work with youth, adult, high-acuity adult and older adult populations
