The Bengtson Center for Aesthetics and Plastic Surgery team is growing! We are looking for a dedicated individual with a passion for aesthetics who is ready for the next step in their career. We are searching for the right candidate this spring in person at our office in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Located in our beautiful flagship facility at 2155 East Paris Ave in Grand Rapids with a brand new med spa location in Byron Center, our expert team — led by Drs. Bengtson, Alfonso, and Horriat — serves patients from across Michigan, the United States, and beyond. We specialize in surgical and non-surgical solutions designed to meet each patient’s unique aesthetic goals.
We are growing and in need of a caring, patient-focused RN to join our team at either the full-time or part-time capacity. This position utilizes the nursing process to provide comprehensive nursing care during all phases of our patient’s journey with our Board-Certified Plastic Surgeons. You will provide patient care in our Clinical setting to prioritize the needs and safety of each patient, while working in coordination with other team members across the practice.
The ideal candidate is kind, caring, efficient, patient focused, organized, and self-motivated. This individual works with a sense of urgency and independence, while being a team player to prioritize work to meet deadlines. The Plastic Surgery RN is responsible for the performance and day-to-day activities within their Team. This individual is responsible for ensuring the delivery of consistent, high quality patient care and service through blended hands-on and leadership by example approach.
- Associate degree in Nursing required;
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred - Current Michigan license and BLS is required
- ACLS certification is required within 6 months of hire
- Experience working as a Registered Nurse in a similar environment or capacity
- Minimum 2 years of Plastic Surgery nursing experience preferred
- Experience in the operating room preferred
- Experience in evaluating and teaching patients during pre and post op phone calls
- Knowledge and experience with preparing patients for surgery
- Knowledge and experience in caring for a patient recovering from surgery
- Technologically advanced
- Part-time or full-time, 3-5 days/week
