Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Behavioral Health – Michigan

Start Date: February 23, 2026
Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 40 hours per week with opportunity for additional shifts up to 48 hours; every other weekend required

• Provide compassionate care across nine age-specific inpatient units serving children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and older adults
• Work alongside board-certified psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team in a 198-bed behavioral health facility
• Opportunity to pick up additional shifts based on program demand
• Engage in recovery-focused, person-centered care with comprehensive professional assessments and crisis stabilization
• Participate in discharge and aftercare planning with families and significant others
• Professional development opportunities including potential charge nurse responsibilities

Requirements:

• Active Michigan Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of behavioral health nursing experience required
• Demonstrated ability to assess care needs, develop individualized care plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Strong communication and documentation skills
