Overview
Registered Nurse - RN – Neuroscience Unit at Trinity Health Grand Rapids (Hauenstein 3, H3). This 34-bed mixed acuity Neuroscience Medical Surgical Unit cares for low acuity up to non-intubated critical care patients. The unit specializes in neuroscience nursing, including care for patients who have undergone complex neurological surgeries and procedures, trauma, stroke patients requiring emergent thrombolytic and neuro interventional treatment, and patients in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit.
A comprehensive orientation and ongoing education support neuro nursing expertise.
Registered Nurse, RN works in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidence‑based medicine and individualized patient care. A Registered Nurse is expected to facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience.
What you will need- Graduation from an accredited nursing school and program
- Associate degree in nursing required; BSN preferred
- In Grand Rapids, if ADN is held, must enroll in a BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete it within 4 years of hire
- Licensed in the State of Michigan
- Years of experience as an RN required
