Position Title
Registered Nurse (RN) - Triage

Key Responsibilities- Complete patient assessment, education, and scheduling telephonically.
- Utilize knowledge with approved protocols and standards to advise patients and parents.
- Ensure appropriate call-backs are made.
- Document nursing actions in medical records using defined standards.
- Participate in the Contact Center quality assurance program.
- Meet personal and team qualitative and quantitative targets for the Contact Center.
- Translate other languages if applicable.
- Adhere to CSHS’s compliance standards and stay updated on relevant regulations and policies.
- Apply strong critical thinking and decision‑making to assess and prioritize patient needs quickly.
- Basic Life Support / CPR training per license/certification requirements.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain self‑direction.
- Working knowledge of computers and their applications preferred.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently under tight deadlines and high volume.

- Associate’s degree in Nursing (required);
Bachelor’s degree preferred. - Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan.
- BLS certification.
- One year of professional clinical nursing experience (family practice experience preferred).
- Alternatively, proven capability to perform essential functions demonstrated by equivalent education, training, and/or relevant work experience.
- Loan repayment through NHSC and Michigan State Loan Repayment Program for selected roles.
