Welder - Otsego Area

Salary Range: $42,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

• Perform various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) on metal components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Inspect finished welds for quality, defects, and adherence to specifications.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
• Prepare materials for welding by cutting, grinding, and cleaning surfaces.
• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies.
• Fabricate and repair metal structures and components according to job requirements.

• Proven experience with MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• AWS certification (e.g., D1.1, D1.2, D1.3) or equivalent industry certification.
• Strong understanding of welding safety protocols and quality control standards.
• Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality, consistent welds on various materials.

• Experience with fabrication and fitting.
• Forklift and/or overhead crane certification.
• Basic blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
• Experience with quality control procedures or visual inspection.
