SUMMARY
The Washbooth Operator works in unison with another team member or a robot to move wet bins from the wash booth onto the dry booth carousel while ensuring that the line is running at maximum efficiency and keeping up with through put rates (conveyor line speed or 15 seconds per bin).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Other duties may be assigned and management retains the discretion to add, delete, or change the duties at any time)
- Consistently stand, bend, twist, and lift up to 50lbs. to disassemble bin sleeve from its bottom and place it into an automated dry booth carousel.
- Perform the last quality check before the bin is shipped out to retail stores by identifying and removing any damaged sleeves from carousel.
- Manually stack sleeves and bottoms 4-5 feet high.
- Understands, recognizes and complies with Lockout/ Tagout procedures.
- Reports identified safety and mechanical problems to Supervisor / Maintenance Personnel promptly.
- Consistently use required personal protective equipment (PPE) which includes, but is not limited to, proper ear (noise canceling ear muffs), eye (safety glasses), hand protection (gloves) and foot protection (rubber steel toed boots).
- Keep work area clean and free from clutter at all times to maintain a safe work area.
- Rotate and assist other team members in various roles as needed.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Must be able to train others while performing the essential functions of this job
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to interact in person with peers and the public
- Must be able to handle high stress situations

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- No prior experience required
- Experience working with variable conditions (preferred)
- Ability to count accurately
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal work instruction and safety standards
- Move and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Work within a loud, wet, and physically demanding work environment
