Hiring for Davidson Plyforms - 1st Shift 5AM-3:30PM / 2nd shift 3:30PM-2AM, Monday-Thursday with occasional overtime on Fridays as needed.

SummaryResponsible for the safe operation of all divisions machinery received training on per Davidson Plyforms. Responsible to adhere to all safety, quality and operational standards, and perform the following duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- To be fully trained and signed off as a level 2 operator within 1 year on the machine(s) assigned to operate.
- Responsible for meeting production rates and quality standards.
- Perform necessary quality verifications.
- Perform general preventive maintenance on machinery.
- Full compliance with all safety rules and policies.
- Responsible for understanding and completing all production forms and instructions that apply to their assigned work area.
- Follow all departmental ISO procedures and work instructions.
- To work as a team member.
- To maintain work area cleanliness, organization, and housekeeping.
- To pursue training opportunities which further job skills.
- Be familiar with and able to utilize a tape measure and calipers.
- Demonstrate basic math skills.
- Be knowledgeable with the decimal system and be able to read a ruler.
- Be able to read a blueprint.
- Education:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). - Experience:
One to three months related experience and/or training. - Language
Skills:
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences. - Mathematical
Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. - Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. - Certificates, Licenses, Registrations.

- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
