Warehouse Worker Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Worker with a schedule of 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday. Enjoy a casual dress code with closed‑toe shoes required. We are a small company looking for someone who fits well into our laid‑back and clean environment on the production floor.

• Operate various saws including CNC panel saw, table saw, shears, adjustable circular saw, band saw, and hand saw.
• Select appropriate saw blades according to material type and work order specifications.
• Pull and restock materials from storage locations and maintain production count.
• Use programmable displays on CNC saws to set up and cut materials.
• Establish cutting parameters to ensure maximum quality.
• Maintain a safe working area and adhere to established safe work practices, including Lock‑out/Tag‑out procedures.
• Verify dimensions of cut material against specifications using measuring tools.
• Use computer or bar code scanner to enter records, track material, and control inventory.
• Maintain saw blades sharpening and repair schedule per company process.
• Perform preventative and routine maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Perform general warehouse duties as required, including proper packaging techniques for shipping and storing materials using company barcode labeling system.
• Drive a forklift to move materials within the warehouse.
• Ensure adherence to company quality and safety procedures and requirements for warehouse operations.
• Participate in company‑wide inventory processes.

• Experience with CNC machines and Hi‑lo operation.
• Ability to operate various saws and select appropriate saw blades.
• Proficiency in using measuring tools to verify dimensions.
• Experience with using computer or bar code scanner for inventory control.

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Ability to work well within a small team.

This is a Contract position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Grand Rapids, MI.
