Job Title:
Process Technician - 2nd Shift
We are seeking a dedicated Process Technician for a 2nd shift position, working from 3 PM to 11 PM. This role includes work on Saturdays and potentially Sundays. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our plastic injection processes.
Responsibilities- Check the schedule on the board to determine which press(es) need to be started.
- Conduct process verification and write up the necessary parameters.
- Test and run assigned parts, and answer calls related to process issues.
- Perform mold changeovers and assist with approximately 8-10 mold changes per shift.
- Troubleshoot sensors and perform basic wiring tasks.
- Work on secondary equipment including sonic welders, spin welders, vibration welders, hot plate welders, leak testers, and various poke yokes.
- 2-4 years of experience in a plastic injection facility.
- Proficiency in changing molds, preferably with experience progressing from a mold setting position to a process technician role.
- 2-4 years of experience working as a Process Technician.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
