Position OverviewThe Electrical/Wiring Technician is responsible for building back panels needed for machinery models produced at HOMAG Machinery North America.
Essential Functions- Review and interpret electrical schematics for the successful installation of components and wiring cables for machine production
- Examine final work for completeness and quality levels, including making adjustments and repairs as needed
- Inform supervisor of any quality issues
- Support team members as needed
- Ensure the cleanliness of the cycle workstation
- Other duties as assigned
- 1 year of relevant production experience
- 1 year of experience in reading and utilizing blueprints/schematics
- Basic knowledge of electrical principles
- Experience building back panels
- Experience wiring back panels
- Attention to detail
- Self‑starter and reliable
- Team player
- Ability to read and understand European schematics
- Starting pay minimum – $20 up to $23/hr. (based on experience)
- Quarterly bonus potential – $480/quarter (estimated extra $1/hr.)
- 17 vacation days provided upon hire, prorated by start date
- 11 paid holidays included
- Immediately enrolled in 401(k) plan. Employer contribution is 50% up to 6% of employee contribution
