Position DescriptionThe Controls Electrician serves as a team member in the electrical assembly process for automation equipment. The electrician is responsible for panel building and wiring of electrical components used in automation equipment projects. We are willing to train entry‑level candidates with electrical knowledge.
Responsibilities- Serve as a Controls Electrician team member in the electrical assembly process for automation equipment.
- Assemble and wire electrical panels and machine wiring according to approved design and customer specifications.
- Document and communicate changes and problems.
- Communicate with the project team on open issues and progress during the build process.
- Assist with the successful execution of equipment builds including cost, quality, timing, and customer satisfaction.
- Effectively and safely troubleshoot wiring and circuits.
- Read and understand schematics.
- Problem‑solve issues/jog yokes/cycle time.
- Travel for install and runoffs with customers.
- Identify electrical problems and recommend adjustments/repair work as necessary.
- Work cross‑functionally with all departments during all phases of the project including debugging and runoff.

- High school diploma or equivalent certificate.
- Preferred two (2) years electrical experience with equipment building.
- Team player, able to take direction and be self‑directed.
- High regard for safety standards.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% (local, national, international).
$20.00 - $32.00/hour (wage dependent on experience)
Additional CompensationOvertime pay, travel pay
