- Partner with the General Manager to establish and execute short- and long-term operational objectives, strategic plans, and policies.
- Provide leadership and direction to management and supervisory staff to ensure alignment with corporate policies and approved initiatives.
- Support the financial health of the division by assisting with budget development, financial analysis, and cost-control initiatives.
- Review divisional operating results against established objectives; identify gaps and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels across all departments to drive alignment and execution.
- Represent the division, as appropriate, with key customers, the financial community, and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate cross-functional departmental activities to ensure operational efficiency and organizational alignment.
- Support sales and marketing efforts by assisting in the promotion of manufactured products or services to expand market presence and competitiveness.
- Evaluate departmental budget requests and assist with operating budget allocation and optimization.
- Actively participate in problem-solving, continuous improvement, and operational excellence initiatives.
- In the absence of the General Manager, assume leadership responsibility for safety, quality, and productivity programs, including:
- Monitoring compliance with all Health & Safety and ISO 14001 policies and procedures
- Establishing safety goals and objectives
- Reviewing safety metrics and loss data
- Leading the management safety committee
- Conducting and participating in regular workplace inspections
- Bachelor’s degree required with 8+ years of operations or manufacturing leadership experience
, including 5+ years in a senior manufacturing or general management role
; MBA preferred. - Demonstrated expertise in modern manufacturing practices, continuous improvement methodologies, and quality management systems.
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence, negotiate, and resolve conflict across all organizational levels.
- Proven ability to develop, lead, and sustain high-performing teams aligned with established management systems.
