As the Training & Development Manager, you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive technical and soft skill training programs for all employees, developing leadership skills within the company, and fostering a culture of continuous learning. You will also manage the execution of the training associated with the large-scale initiatives, including but not limited to, the implementation and ongoing support of our ERP system, manage the knowledge management system and ensure our learning management system is up-to-date and effective.
Your collaborative efforts with HR and department heads will ensure that training initiatives are aligned with organizational objectives and support our mission of excellence.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Design and implement a strategic plan that will enhance Mill Steel’s ability to offer a comprehensive curriculum and expand opportunities for learning and professional development for all employees.
· Support the design and implementation of the training & change management plan for all system implementations, specifically the Microsoft Dynamics ERP implementation.
- Drive ERP training strategy, content creation, & delivery across organization
- Execute change plans to ensure ERP adoption and minimize disruption.
- Provide hyper care support during and after ERP go live, track impact and adapt quickly to close adoption gaps.
· Delivers in-person presentations and virtual trainings aligned with overall curriculum.
· Develop and manage project plans to ensure timely and successful execution of training and development initiatives, including defining scope, timelines, monitoring project progress, tracking key milestones, and adjusting plans as needed to stay on schedule and within scope.
· Identify and mitigate risks or barriers that may impact project success.
· Maintains the training and continuous learning course curriculum by assessing current courses and performing needs analyses to identify new courses or training programs to be added. Conduct training needs assessments and gap analyses.
· Maintain and manage a training calendar to ensure timely delivery.
· Develop and manage structured onboarding programs for our headquarter teams. Monitor and evaluate the onboarding process for continuous improvement.
· Maintain and manage internal knowledge management system. Ensure the system is user-friendly and accessible to all employees.
· Keep the LMS updated with current training materials and course offerings and oversee the administration and maintenance of the LMS. Work closely with cross functional teams, including operations, HR, etc. to ensure alignment between commercial strategy, training, and overall business goals.
· Collaborate with business leaders and functional subject matter experts to tailor programs to specific needs.
· Provide support and management of internship program in collaboration with Human Resources.
· Immerse in the ongoing development and improvement of training content. Stay current on industry trends, best practices in sales methodologies, and adult learning principles to ensure training programs are effective and engaging.
· Partner with external vendors and consultants for specialized training.
Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources, Education, or a related field.

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in training and development and project management, with some leadership experience. Manufacturing experience preferred.
