WhatYou’ll Do
As a Clinical Services Manager of Nursing, you will lead the Nursing team within Hospital and Residential Services, providing management and clinical supervision. You will administer daily operations, drive quality improvement, fiscal productivity, and patient satisfaction, and represent the organization to external constituencies.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities- Communicate and execute the department’s mission.
- Oversee daily operations to achieve quality improvement, fiscal productivity, and patient satisfaction goals with 24‑hour accountability.
- Lead customer‑service initiatives for the department.
- Develop strategic and operational plans aligned with organizational and divisional priorities.
- Serve on committees to participate in organization‑wide discussions.
- Act as a change agent by challenging existing processes and implementing new technologies and methods.
- Establish annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly goals to encourage progress.
- Provide technical expertise to coach a multidisciplinary team on quality and performance improvement.
- Utilize the department’s structure to achieve goals and adjust for efficiency and core‑competency development.
- BSN from an accredited nursing school.
- MSN strongly preferred or expected within five years of hire.
- Current RN license in Michigan.
- ANCC Psychiatric‑Mental Health RN‑BC or similar board certification preferred; to be obtained within 18 months.
- Minimum three years of clinical experience in a behavioral‑health setting with progressive leadership experience.
- Two years supervisory or manager experience, five years clinical experience in comparable areas preferred.
