Overview

Area Manager - Grand Rapids, MI | Clean Team Inc. Clean Team Inc. is seeking a dedicated Area Manager to join our team in Grand Rapids, MI. Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Area Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for designated accounts, providing leadership to personnel, ensuring quality and safety standards, and overseeing daily operations to guarantee job completion.

This role requires travel to accounts in Holland, Grand Haven, and Muskegon, MI.

Evening position, 3:30 PM - 12:30 AM, Monday-Friday, with on-call rotation on weekends.

• Manage employees at assigned locations, providing direction, coaching, and training
• Communicate job expectations and enforce policies, procedures, and productivity standards
• Establish strategic goals by analyzing business, service, and operations trends
• Build and maintain employee morale, motivation, and loyalty
• Monitor and measure performance compliance, taking corrective action as needed
• Manage budgeted hours vs. worked hours, monitor staffing, absences, turnover, and relocations
• Handle employee concerns including reporting, follow-up, investigations, and disciplinary actions
• Utilize strong time management skills to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently
• Travel to accounts in Holland, Grand Haven, and Muskegon, MI as needed

• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation with insurance
• Management experience with a proven ability to coach, mentor, and train staff
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
