Job Summary
The Supply Chain Manager (SCM) will lead and drive the deployment of SCM strategic initiatives to manage the flow of materials across the value stream into the facility, through the facility and outbound, in a way that maximizes on-time delivery while minimizing inventory, aging inventory and logistics costs.
Job DutiesThe SCM will be the point of contact for the Vertical Markets within their perspective family. This to include but not limited to:
- Lead the S&OP for Healthcare
- Coordination within all facilities related to Healthcare products and strategies
- Point of Contact for day to day Emergencies
- Inventory database maintenance and reporting
- Aged inventory management
- Supply Chain contact for business reviews
- Manages cost savings initiatives
- Inventory management (DSI targets to be achieved)
- Implement and enforce new and or existing policies and procedures
- Monitor rework, inventory disposals, and offcuts for the vertical market.
- Lead procurement initiatives
- 5+ years’ work experience in Supply Chain, preferably in a plastic manufacturing environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Management or related field preferred
- Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills necessary to converse with diverse group of stakeholders including senior management, operations and Supply Chain Management personnel.
- Strong ERP system skills, Excel, Power Point, and Power Bi
- Travel – 10%
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in the development, implementation, and achievement of results through cross-functional business initiatives and strategies.
- Managerial and collaborative skills are necessary to achieve and meet SCM and customer requirements and to gain the support needed to move projects and initiatives forward.
- Strong analytical problem-solving abilities are necessary to understand operational inefficiencies and separate/resolve legitimate supplier performance issues.
- Sound knowledge of global service / material modes, capabilities and practices are essential.
- Must be dedicated to continuous improvement
- Willingness to work as team member or independently
