Associate Attorney

Overview

Michigan Auto Law, Michigan’s premier plaintiff’s personal injury law firm, is looking for dedicated Litigation Associate Attorneys to join our elite litigation teams. A successful candidate must have a passion for helping people and demonstrate exceptional emotional intelligence. Qualifying experience includes 1-5 years of litigation (auto negligence preferred), remarkable writing and oral advocacy skills, exceptional time management, and organizational abilities. Compensation commensurate with experience.

• Maintain client files in an organized fashion to ensure up-to-date information is handy for other attorneys, paralegals and support staff
• Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings
• Resolve cases efficiently by using communicating effectively with and working alongside senior attorneys and paralegals
• Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of action
• Attend court hearings or other legal proceedings, perform legal research, and work with senior associate attorneys to provide legal advice

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree required from an accredited law school
• Applicants must have successfully passed the state bar exam
• Solid communication skills and problem-solving skills required in order to work with clients, staff members and senior attorneys
• Ability to work with senior attorneys to best serve client needs and grow our client base

$65,000 - $80,000 per year
