Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks a tenacious Associate Attorney, licensed and located in the Southfield, MI area, to join their team in retail consumer collections. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in creditor's rights and civil litigation, and will be eager to contribute to all aspects of file generation and litigation.

• Develop and implement case-level litigation strategy.
• Represent clients zealously at court proceedings.
• Manage dockets and cases efficiently with internal teams.
• Prepare pleadings and ensure seamless case management.
• Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes.
• Monitor and educate team on legal changes.
• Travel regionally to appear at courts throughout Michigan.

• Licensed attorney in good standing with the Bar Association.
• 1-3 years of experience in creditor's rights and civil litigation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to leverage industry technology effectively.

• Licensed to practice law in Michigan.
