This position focuses on defending employers in a wide range of employment-related litigation and agency matters. The role also includes advising clients on compliance, risk mitigation, and strategic labor and employment law issues.

• Defend and litigate lawsuits involving employment-related claims and agency charges.
• Advise, counsel, and train employers on employment and labor law issues.
• Represent employers in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
• Handle class and collective actions, discrimination matters, and complex employment disputes.
• Manage litigation matters in a first-chair capacity.
• Supervise and oversee associate and paralegal work on assigned matters.

• 9+ years of employment litigation experience.
• Current Michigan Bar admission in good standing.
• Experience supervising associates and legal support staff.
• In-depth understanding of state and federal employment agencies and procedures.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
• Admission to the Michigan Bar required.
