Paralegal

Description We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The ideal candidate will provide essential support for litigation cases, focusing on personal injury and no-fault matters. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities:

- Assist attorneys with drafting and reviewing legal documents related to litigation cases.

- Conduct thorough research and gather evidence to support trial preparation and case strategy.

- Manage discovery processes, including organizing and analyzing documents.

- Handle case management tasks using specialized software.

- Facilitate communication with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal proceedings.

- Prepare trial materials, such as exhibits and witness lists.

- Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with court requirements.

- Support attorneys in resolving no-fault and personal injury claims.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files.

- Collaborate with team members to streamline workflows and ensure efficiency. Requirements - Proven experience as a paralegal in civil litigation.

- Proficiency in case management software.

- Strong knowledge of discovery processes and trial preparation.

- Familiarity with personal injury and no-fault law.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

- Detail-oriented with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
