Job Title: Commercial Lines Senior Account Manager

Location: On Site - Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States

Base pay range: $90,000.00/yr - $/yr

Responsibilities
  • Accompany Producers on client visits, including renewals and new business, and independently manage client meetings.
  • Consult and educate clients on coverage, exclusions, and exposures, documenting accounts in the agency management system.
  • Round out accounts and secure new lines of business for clients.
  • Prepare comprehensive proposals and presentations for new business and renewals, adhering to agency standards.
  • Develop tailored placement strategies with carrier partners, including new products and services and unique coverages.
  • Conduct coverage and pricing analyses, proactively creating cost and exposure comparisons year-over-year.
  • Manage client concerns and maintain positive relationships with carrier partners to meet client needs.
  • Ensure adherence to operational procedures and industry regulations on client accounts.
  • Train and mentor team members, while actively pursuing professional development and staying updated on industry trends.
  • Participate in team meetings, carrier events, and represent the agency in external engagements.
Qualifications
  • Must-Have

    Skills:

    Active Michigan Property and Casualty license;
    Minimum of 10 years’ experience managing large and captive commercial accounts;
    Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience;
    Professional designations such as CISR, CIC, CRM;
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word and Excel.
