AP Analyst

Pay: $55,000 - $65,000
Schedule: M–F, Full Time
Remote: Option available, located in Lansing

Position Overview:
We’re seeking a technically strong Accounts Payable Analyst to support system administration, analytics, and month-end accounting activities within the AP function. This role is ideal for someone analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with financial systems and data.

Responsibilities:

Systems & Platform Administration

• Serve as system administrator for the AP invoicing processing system
  
  Act as system administrator

• Support user access, system configuration, and process improvements

Reporting & Analytics

• Build and track departmental KPIs and performance metrics

• Analyze AP data to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities

• Provide reporting support using Excel (Power BI experience a strong plus)

Accounting & Month-End Close

• Perform month-end close activities including:

  • Account reconciliations

  • Accrual calculations

  • Journal entries

  • GL and statement reviews

• Support AP-related accounting analysis and reporting

Qualifications:

• Accounts payable experience required

• Experience with accruals, journal entries, reconciliations, and GL processes

• Strong Excel skills required

• Power BI experience highly preferred

• Tech-savvy with strong aptitude for accounting systems

• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
