What we're looking for:

Are you passionate about technology and helping people? The Onsite Services team is seeking a User Support Specialist to provide vital, hands‑on technical support to our employees across our Greater Grand Rapids locations. As a key member of our team, you will be a visible and trusted partner for employees at all levels, from our manufacturing teams to our executive leadership.

In this role, you will work face to face with end users, with ensuring our team members have the tools and support they need to succeed. You’ll have the opportunity to work with a wide array of technologies and contribute to projects that impact our global community. You will also work in our technology warehouse, ensuring that we have the correct amount of computers and peripherals ordered and in stock.

A typical day might include:
  • Responding to support requests to diagnose and resolve issues with Windows PCs, Apple Macs, mobile devices, and printers.
  • Providing direct support for specialized technology as needed.
  • Collaborating with team members on technology projects, ranging from departmental upgrades to global initiatives.
  • Assisting with the technical setup and coordination for large meetings and events in our World Headquarters auditorium and board rooms.
  • Partnering with users to understand their needs and provide effective, empathetic solutions.
Required Qualifications:
  • At least an Associate's degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in a role supporting end‑user technologies, including Windows PCs, Apple Macs, and mobile devices (iPhone/Android).
  • Experience supporting software such as Microsoft Office Applications and collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams.
  • Familiarity with supporting peripheral devices (monitors, docks, printers, etc.) and ensuring their connectivity.
  • Experience contributing to or helping manage small to medium‑size projects.

  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • A proactive approach to identifying challenges and creatively finding solutions.
  • The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse audiences, both in writing and verbally.
  • A genuine commitment to providing excellent and helpful customer service experience.
  • An eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and responsibilities.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with team members, both in‑person and remotely.

The Onsite Services team is responsible for providing direct support to end users, their PCs, and other ‘technology hardware’ that they rely on to perform their day‑to‑day activities. This team is very active in the end user community at Amway, and often times, they represent the “face” of Amway Technology. Due to this involvement with end users, the team members are exposed to many areas within Amway, which gives a great perspective of the work we do to support our ABOs and customers.
