Overview

WE PAY FOR YOUR TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION AS A REGISTERED BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN (RBT)!

Developmental Enhancement Behavioral Health is a premier provider of behavioral health services in West Michigan with three locations. We specialize in the treatment of children and families, and our Registered Behavior Technicians work in the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program, providing direct treatment for children on the autism spectrum. For new hires who are not certified, we will pay for training and provide supervision leading to certification as an RBT.

Behavior Technicians assist behavior analysts to implement behavior reduction and skill acquisition treatment plans. We value teamwork and recognize the contributions of all team members.

Openings

Multiple openings for full- and part-time Behavior Technicians at our Grand Rapids and Holland clinics.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individual treatment for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder using Applied Behavior Analysis under the direct supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
  • Implement learning programs (communication, self-help, play skills).
  • Collect data on target behaviors and monitor progress; adjust as needed.
  • Incorporate parent training into treatment plans.
  • Meet with supervisors regularly to review progress and adjust plans.
Compensation

Entry level starting at $17.00/hour, with expectation that Behavior Technicians will complete employer-provided training and certification. There is considerable opportunity to increase pay with experience and potential leadership roles. Full range of benefits available for full-time status.

Requirements
  • BA or BS in psychology, social work, special education or related field preferred. Will consider individuals who have nearly completed their degrees.
  • Good interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Ability to work with multi-disciplinary team members, and a desire to work with children.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
