Our services include psychiatric urgent‑care, pediatric behavioral health, outpatient and residential treatment, addiction services, crisis response, forensic psychiatry, clinical psychology, neuromodulation, and on‑the‑job educational programs for nurses, psychologists, advanced practice providers, psychiatrists, and chaplains.

- Start‑up bonus: $8,000 OR up to $40,000 student loan forgiveness
- Cost Center: 525 Lotus
- Weekly hours: 36
- First shift, 12‑hour rotating schedule:
Week 1 – 9:00 am to 9:30 pm;
Week 2 – 11:30 am to 12:00 am - Weekly shift rotation – every other weekend & holiday required
- Location:
Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services – onsite - Schedule may include weekend and holiday hours
- Must pass a Child Protective Services clearance
- Preferred:
Licensed to practice RN in Michigan;
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing - Professional knowledge of psychiatric nursing theory preferred
- Prior clinical experience required
- Annual training and competency demonstration required
- Assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and continually re‑assess plans with an interdisciplinary team.
- Provide and coordinate nursing care in collaboration with physicians for individuals and groups.
- Assist in family teaching and provide milieu management; communicate discharge/after‑care plans.
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for patients and staff.
- Document, report, and verify all required information according to policies and procedures.
- Monitor and report potential safety risks to physicians.
- Maintain a client‑friendly environment through quality improvement standards and professionalism.
- Provide care across diverse patient populations; implement person‑centered, compassionate care.
- Act as a clinical leader, delegate and coordinate staff assignments, and promote staff development.
- Utilize and review patient‑care protocols and standards; contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Provide training to direct care staff; oversee medication and physical health activities as required.
- Schedule, staff, and obtain pre‑authorizations; maintain role model status consistent with organizational mission and values.
- Provide spiritual, emotional, social, mental, and physical support to patients.
- Support a recovery‑focused environment in community residential settings.
- Commit to demonstrating the Hospital and Residential Services Model of Care.
- Licensed RN in Michigan.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
- Professional knowledge of psychiatric nursing theory desired.
- Satisfactory previous clinical experience.
- Child Protective Services clearance required.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
