Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison - Neuroscience - Great Lakes

Join Johnson & Johnson’s Innovative Medicine & Med Tech programs as an Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison focused on the Great Lakes region (MI, IN). This field‑based role supports the CAPLYTA brand and the broader Neuroscience franchise, engaging key opinion leaders, shaping educational strategies, and driving brand advocacy. A major metropolitan market with airport access is preferred.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of regional KOL engagement, marketing education, and faculty development strategies.
  • Serve on the CAPLYTA Brand team, providing local market insights to shape science‑backed strategies.
  • Build trusting relationships with academic and community KOLs and other key partners.
  • Maintain awareness of regional trends and coordinate educational and engagement plans with cross‑functional partners.
  • Partner with analytics to understand treatment patterns and advise peer‑to‑peer and insight programs.
  • Attend conferences and host product theatres.
  • Facilitate, participate in, and attend advisory boards.
  • Coordinate executive engagements with KOLs and commercial leadership.
  • Supervise the regional marketing budget, delivering continuous feedback on business planning.
  • Assist in creating future educational platforms tailored to local needs, including national and regional recommendations.
  • Lead neuroscience strategy, including mapping, framework development, engagement planning, and agency management.
Job Requirements
  • BA/BS degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in marketing, key account management, medical, sales leadership, sales training, or field sales engaging with KOLs/Influential HCPs and professional healthcare organizations.
  • Strong cross‑functional partnership experience and a drive to innovate, collaborate, and deliver results.
  • Comprehensive understanding of industry trends and capability to develop strategies ahead of competition.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage lasting customer relationships focused on patient impact.
  • Travel up to 65% for internal meetings, advisory boards, medical meetings, congresses, and selected program attendance.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license.
Preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in neuroscience.
  • Cross‑functional industry experience in pharma or biotech engaging with KOLs and professional healthcare associations.
  • Deep medical/scientific knowledge of the psychiatry marketplace.
  • Experience leading change, product launches, and strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Completion of all required company and job‑related training.
  • Ability to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is: $ – $

Benefits
  • Vacation – 120 hours per calendar year
  • Sick time – 40 hours per calendar year (
    * 48 hours in Colorado;
    * 56 hours in Washington)
  • Holiday pay and floating holidays – 13 days per calendar year
  • Work, Personal and Family Time – up to 40 hours per calendar year
  • Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of birth/adoption/foster care of a child
  • Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for immediate family member, 40 hours for extended family member per calendar year
  • Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52‑week rolling period
  • Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year
  • Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
