This role is a salaried Wellness Guide position at Brio Living Services, based at Porter Hills Village Health Center & Green House Homes in Grand Rapids, MI. The expected base salary is $46,000 – $54,000 per year. The position is exempt and typically requires Monday–Friday hours, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with possible weekend and evening work for special events.

What You’ll Do
  • Plan, lead, support and participate in meaningful activities for residents and teammates.
  • Provide supervision and consultation on Wellness principles and programs.
  • Order, distribute and maintain supplies of recreational and diversional materials.
  • Develop and monitor the budget for wellness programming and supplies.
  • Educate and support all dimensions of wellness to team members.
  • Conduct monthly Resident Council meetings.
  • Ensure appropriate MDS, QAPI documentation and other regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as Concern Coordinator: receive, process, and resolve resident and family concerns.
What You’ll Need
  • At least 2 years of experience in a social or recreation program.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with people living with dementia.
  • Preferred:
    Bachelor’s degree in aging process and health promotion.
  • Preferred:
    Certified therapeutic recreation specialist or state‑licensed activities professional (Michigan).
