Manager – Neurodiagnostics – Outpatient and Inpatient
Corewell Health is seeking an experienced manager to provide operational leadership for all neurodiagnostic services across Corewell Health West Hospitals. The role supports strategic program development, collaborates with medical directors and physicians, and ensures the efficient delivery of services such as EEG, EP, NCS, LTME, ICU/cEEG, and IONM.
Job SummaryProvides operational leadership for all neurodiagnostic services throughout Corewell Health West Hospitals; supports strategic program development initiatives across organizational neurodiagnostic departments; works in a matrix and direct-line relationship with physicians, nursing, and medical directors. Core competencies include strong communication and customer service skills, initiative, interpersonal, problem‑solving, and analytical abilities.
Essential Functions- Accountable for daily clinical operations, project management, program development and implementation, labor management, and overall operational administration for assigned responsibilities.
- Creates and maintains a leadership infrastructure, identifies key stakeholders, and facilitates the development of highly functioning teams.
- Uses financial and clinical data to set strategic direction, monitor program effectiveness, and improve services.
- Works closely with neurodiagnostic medical staff and senior leadership to plan, develop, and implement departmental and capital budgets.
- Identifies methods to improve operational efficiencies, minimize operating cost, increase standardization, productivity and utilization.
- Assures revenue capture and charge compliance, assists with strategic contracts, capital projects, and proformas.
- Sets direction and policy to ensure organizational culture, quality outcomes, and system design review.
- Implements and sustains changes in policy, procedures, clinical standards, regulatory requirements, and system initiatives.
- Collaborates with medical directors and staff on department quality initiatives and priorities; supports program quality processes and outcomes.
- Develops advanced neuromonitoring procedures and maintains clinical standards reflecting regulatory guidelines and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Minimum five years of relevant neurodiagnostics experience in a health care setting.
- Minimum three years of supervisory level experience.
