Applied Behavior Technician; Part-Time

Overview

We are seeking individuals who are energetic, compassionate, fun, and dedicated to changing the lives of children and families. We provide comprehensive early intensive behavioral intervention based on the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA). Our technicians work 1:1 with two to nine year old children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders. They are responsible for implementing natural environment teaching (NET) and discrete trial training (DTT), as directed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).

In addition, our techs facilitate play and social interaction, as well as design and conduct exciting daily small group activities in a fun, engaging environment.

• Paid training, including CPR/First Aid and Professional Crisis Management (PCM)
• Paid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credentialing and ongoing supervision
• All necessary materials, reinforcers, toys, stickers, program stimuli, and agency computers provided
• Large indoor playground, pretend play room, and outdoor play area
• Open classrooms with individual work spaces
• Thorough initial training with ongoing supervision and support

Status/Hours: Part-Time, available Monday-Friday between 9:45a-2:30p (average about 15-20 hrs per week)

Pay Rate: $18-20 w/o RBT Certification, $19-21 with RBT Certification

Example ABA session:

• High school diploma required
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Prior experience working with ASD population is preferred
• Prior experience working with children is preferred
