Overview
Join the Nurse Tech Acute Care of the Elderly role at Corewell Health.
Scope of Work- Acts as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or provider.
- Performs basic nursing skills as per department guidelines: taking vitals, checking blood sugars, bed bathing, ambulating, wound care, and catheterization.
- Serves as a safety attendant for patients and ensures accurate, timely documentation.
- Collects and reports patients' physiological, psychological, sociocultural, and spiritual needs in coordination with the RN or provider.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of employment.
