Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis of actual results against budget and forecast, focusing on production costs and operational expenses.
- Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory valuation, and cost of goods sold (COGS) to identify efficiencies and cost reduction opportunities.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports, performance dashboards, and key metric analyses for management review.
- Evaluate capital expenditure projects, including ROI, NPV, and payback period, to support investment decisions.
- Partner with operations teams to understand production drivers and their financial impact.
- Support month-end close activities by ensuring accurate financial reporting and reconciliations.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis for manufacturing operations.
- In-depth knowledge of cost accounting principles, including standard costing, inventory valuation, and COGS analysis.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for financial reporting and data extraction.
- Ability to analyze large datasets and present actionable insights using tools like Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain dynamics, and their financial implications.
- Experience with manufacturing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor).
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Understanding of supply chain finance and inventory optimization.
- Exposure to activity-based costing or other advanced cost accounting techniques.
