At KPMG, you will become an integral part of a dynamic team at one of the world's top tax firms. You will work with KPMG's extensive network of specialists, enjoy access to our Ignition Centers, and help high‑profile clients understand, analyze, and respond to complex business opportunities and challenges.

• Oversee client portfolios of various size and scope within the alternative investment fund industry (private equity, real estate and/or hedge funds)
• Act as the first point of contact for internal and external clients
• Manage teams of tax professionals/assistants working on client projects
• Assess tax impact on clients of rules and law changes, develop tax arguments to support conclusions and make recommendations
• Facilitate risk and financial performance of engagements, including billing, collections, and the budget for projects
• Deliver high‑quality tax services to clients

• Minimum five years of recent tax experience in the alternative investment industry
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university;
  Licensed CPA, EA or JD/LLM, plus any other designation on KPMG's approved credential list (one year from hire to obtain any required credential)
• Proficient in the taxation of partnerships and tiered investment fund structures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex financial information

Compensation is based on skills, responsibilities, experience, and market considerations. Salary ranges vary by location; for example, the California salary range for this role is $96,800 – $187,500.
