Key Responsibilities- Install, configure, and calibrate robotic systems and peripheral equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial robots to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software issues in robotic cells.
- Execute minor programming adjustments, path teaching, and fine-tuning for production processes.
- Monitor robotic operations, analyze data, and implement improvements for efficiency and quality.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations for robotic systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Document maintenance activities, repair logs, and system modifications accurately.
- Associate's degree in Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting industrial robots in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in programming and operating industrial robots (e.g., Fanuc, ABB, KUKA) and/or PLCs.
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, including reading schematics and blueprints.
- Ability to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on complex robotic systems.
- Experience with robot-specific programming languages (e.g., KRL, RAPID) beyond basic teach pendant operation.
- Proficiency with industrial vision systems for robot guidance, inspection, or quality control.
- Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, PROFINET) and their integration with robotic systems.
- Ability to interpret and work with CAD drawings for robotic cell layouts, tooling, and component design.
- Experience with data collection and analysis for robot performance optimization or predictive maintenance initiatives.
