Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tech Center Engineering Technician to join our team and play a pivotal role in the development and success of our product offerings. The Engineering Technician will be responsible for performing a range of tasks from simple to complex engineered prototype builds and related to material handling equipment. This hands‑on role requires the ability to follow engineering prints and sketches to develop concept ideas, assemble conveyor loops, and support R&D initiatives.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $24 - $27 per hour at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
What You Will Do in this Role- Perform engineering prototype builds and designs from concept to completion.
- Work from engineering prints, sketches, and concept ideas.
- Operate equipment including CNC mill, manual mill, manual lathe, laser, brake press, horizontal and vertical band saws, and MIG/TIG welders.
- Assemble conveyor loops based on engineered designs.
- Utilize Microsoft apps, SAP (S4/HANA), KION Intranet, Teamcenter, and ASC products page.
- Solve complex and technically demanding problems, escalating only unusual issues.
- Provide guidance and training to lower-level employees as needed.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external contacts.
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
Associate’s degree or 1-2 years vocational/technical training preferred. - Specialized skill training/certification may be required.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in technical or specialty areas.
- Thorough knowledge of material handling equipment and engineering processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering prints and sketches.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to handle complex tasks independently.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, SAP (S4/HANA), Teamcenter, KION Intranet, and ASC products page.
