Senior Civil Project Engineer

• Prepares proposals, contracts, and subcontracts
• Establishes project deadlines and tracks progress; follows up on all aspects of a project (deadline, permits, etc.) and provides weekly and/or monthly status reports
• Leads kick‑off meetings, progress meetings, and client meetings
• Works with Business Development to identify, evaluate and pursue opportunities
• Works with team members and other technical staff to establish team roles, project schedule, and budget for new projects
• Monitors project budgets and scope of work
• Reviews plans, reports and other work product to confirm that they meet the client’s needs

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Michigan
• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering
• Experience in a project manager role for municipal, roadway reconstruction, sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, trail, traffic signal, or site design projects (residential, commercial, educational, or industrial)
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently or within a team
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Suite programs
