• Responsible for execution and finances for an entire product line, including directing, controlling, administering, and regulating the product line.
• Responsible for the total in-service life cycle of a product, covering customer, production activity, product cost, schedule, and functionality.
• Ensure the cross‑functional team executes the business needs of the product line, including sustaining engineering support, production, customer support, finance, and quality and configuration management.
• Manage outsourced activities and alliance partners to meet financial and schedule agreements, and oversee customer expectations and satisfaction.
• Act as a critical member of the proposal team for business case development, pursuit activities, and capture for both development and sustaining opportunities.
• Contribute to the growth of Commercial Aviation products through strategy formulation and transformation objectives into cross‑functional execution plans.
• Apply program management planning elements: requirements planning, deliverables definition, milestone definition, risk management, resource management, and critical‑path scheduling.
• Lead IPT and monitor and control development program execution using robust management operating systems and integrated cross‑functional teaming approaches.
• Apply Earned Value techniques and reporting.
• Develop, maintain, and manage internal performance scorecards for in‑service production/customer support programs.
• Work with Development Program Management to transition new products from qualification/certification into production and aftermarket support.
• Leverage a gated control and approval process for the product life‑cycle.
• Own and account for customer relationship and scorecard performance, improving performance against business case objectives.
• Partner with functional leaders across the Commercial Aviation Division for enterprise‑wide leadership.
• Establish a process‑improvement culture within Program Management, including idea generation and project execution.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Engineering, Technical Management, or a similar field.
• Minimum 9 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with at least 7 years of related experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Project Management tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex programs simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Experience leveraging Continuous Improvement methodologies to enhance program performance and business effectiveness.

• Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent).
• Program management experience with embedded engineering development products.
• Experience in the avionics industry, both military and commercial markets.
• PMP certification and prior use of earned value metrics.
