Position Description: We are seeking a Process Engineer to join our Water Team in any Michigan office. Candidates must be licensed PE with a bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering and 10-15 years of relevant experience. Experience with large-scale piping, valves, pumping systems, and treatment technologies is required. The role requires a self-motivated individual with strong communication, organizational, and writing skills.
A hybrid-remote schedule is available after 90 days.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing technical planning, design, and support for water and wastewater treatment projects.
- Preparing engineering calculations, process models, and technical memoranda.
- Designing treatment plants and pump stations following local and state standards.
- Assisting with specifications, permits, scope, budget, and schedule management.
- Monitoring project progress, documenting changes, and conducting site inspections.
- Preparing reports, proposals, and participating in meetings.
- Maintaining client relations and ensuring safety.
- Participating in professional organizations and presenting at conferences.
Education: Bachelor's in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
Skills/Experience: 10-15 years of related experience, PE license, experience with large-scale water treatment systems, and strong communication skills.
