POSITION SUMMARYGrand Rapids Christian Schools seeks applicants for a part-time Spanish Immersion teacher for the 2026–2027school year. Applicants must reflect a Christian worldview in their teaching, be familiar with immersion program instruction, be fluent in Spanish, and be certified by the State of Michigan to teach middle school.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIESProvide excellent Christian teaching
Develop and implement curriculum
Nurture faith within a community setting
Develop a learning community with families and colleagues
Develop strong relationships with students and parents
Establish ongoing communications between colleagues and members of the school community
Develop and implement Spanish Immersion instruction that
Integrates Christian faith with learning
Uses best practices in elementary education
Uses best practices specific to immersion instruction
QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge, understanding, and commitment to a reformed Christian educational worldview
Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate
Knowledge and understanding of elementary education practices
Fluency in the Spanish language
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
