Summary

The Enrollment Operations Training Specialist is responsible for coordinating enrollment training and developing, maintaining, and enhancing related resources. This role ensures all training aligns with National Heritage Academies (NHA) procedures and collaborates with cross‑functional teams to deliver essential learning opportunities for school office staff. The specialist provides ongoing learning and timely updates to stakeholders through webinars, newsletters, and other communication channels.

Additionally, the Enrollment Operations Training Specialist leads onboarding for new Enrollment Operations team members and supports stakeholders in understanding and applying enrollment compliance requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain accessible training resources that strengthen competency among office teams and school leadership.
  • Facilitate training for new office staff to build proficiency and support a skilled workforce.
  • Travel to schools to onboard registrars and ensure consistent understanding of enrollment practices.
  • Train Enrollment Operations team members on new initiatives, processes, and system updates.
  • Onboard and train new Enrollment Operations team members to ensure a smooth and informed transition into their roles.
  • Use appropriate tools and communication channels to increase awareness and adherence to enrollment process updates and key practices.
  • Support stakeholders in using enrollment related systems to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Ensure accurate and compliant lottery processes that uphold fairness and precision.
  • Support change management efforts related to new enrollment procedures and systems.
  • Coordinate and facilitate webinars, manage related communications, and collaborate on scheduling and content development.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by leadership to advance overall enrollment objectives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred, or equivalent.
  • 3 or more years of related experience in enrollment management or customer service roles.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to effectively engage with families and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in CRM systems, or the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems.
  • Ability to think strategically and proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and relationship‑building.
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness in processing student applications and maintaining records.
  • Display excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, demonstrating clarity, professionalism, and empathy in all interactions.

This is an in-person position at our NHA Service Center located at 3850 Broadmoor Ave., Grand Rapids, MI.
